General Advice on Accommodation:
Participants are advised to stay at licensed guesthouses and hotels. Some accommodation providers on websites such as Airbnb may not be licensed in Hong Kong.
The conference venue is at Cheng Yu Tung Tower, Centennial Campus, The University of Hong Kong, Pokfulam Road, Hong Kong. For directions to the conference venue, see here.
The local train system in Hong Kong is called “MTR” (Mass Transit Railway). The conference venue is a 10-minute walk from Exit C1 of “HKU” MTR station on the Island line (the line in dark blue colour). The map of the MTR system can be found here. In general, if you stay in a hotel situated near any MTR station within 4 stations of the HKU station, you should be able to get to the conference venue within 30 minutes (by MTR, bus or taxi). You may also use the trip planner on the website of the MTR to plan your in-town travels.
Hotels with Blocked Rooms:
The Faculty of Law of The University of Hong Kong has blocked out hundreds of rooms at numerous hotels nearby the University, with discounted rates for Conference participants. Reservations and enquiries should be made directly with and to the hotels listed below by using the provided reservation link or forms.
You are strongly advised to book as early as possible, not later than the specified deadlines to guarantee the discount offer. All reservations are on first-come-first-served basis and subject to change by the hotels concerned.
